1. Introduction of PQ45 Disc Granulator
Huludao disc granulator model is PQ45. This product is used for (gold mine tailings, quartz stone, phosphogypsum) mixed powder granulation to make soil conditioner. Phosphogypsum powder is one of the most solid wastes that need to be treated in China. Currently, the relatively mature treatment process is to convert phosphogypsum powder into particles of a certain size. The most suitable equipment for phosphogypsum granulation has been verified by tests and market users. Disc granulator is a more suitable equipment. This type of equipment has the characteristics of uniform pellet size, adjustable inclination angle, low energy consumption, and easy operation and maintenance.
2. Working principle of PQ45 Disc Granulator
The main motor drives the pulley and belt, and the reducer drives the pinion. The pinion meshes with the large gear fixed at the bottom of the plate and works in opposite directions. The large gear is specially designed and installed on the main shaft fixed on the frame adjustment plate to support the work of the entire granulation plate (this machine is used in conjunction with a sprayer). After the materials enter the granulating plate, the continuous rotation of the granulating plate and the spray device make the materials evenly stick together to form spherical particles. An automatic material cleaning device is designed in the middle and upper part of the granulation plate of this machine to prevent materials from sticking to the wall, thereby greatly extending the service life of the machine. With the continuous rotation of the motor and the continuous entry of materials, mass production can be achieved to meet the needs of continuous work.
3. PQ45 Disc Granulator Project Overview
Raw materials: phosphogypsum, a small amount of bentonite, other auxiliary materials
Moisture content of phosphogypsum itself: 20%
Moisture content after mixing the three materials: about 9%~10%
Granulation conditions: Easily broken into blocks when dropped vertically from a height of 1.5 meters(Strength).
Moisture content: The moisture content after granulation is about 15%
Particle diameter: 20-30mm.

4. Solution
PQ45 Disc Granulator is mainly composed of reducer, motor, bridge device, disc body, vertical scraper, scraper device, bracket, adjustable frame, etc. The structural features are:
1. Novel structure, light weight, low height, flexible and convenient process layout;
2. The tilt angle of the disc granulator is easy to adjust;
3. The disc granulator is composed of a disc body and disc segments. The disc segments can be adjusted up and down along the disc body, and the ends of the disc segments are edge flanges to ensure that the balls will not be strained or torn when they are discharged from the disc;
4. After the frame is welded and the stress is relieved, its mating surface is processed and formed in one step on the boring and milling machine to ensure higher assembly accuracy and smoother operation of the whole machine.
