1．Project Overview

The customer is a large ink manufacturer in Lebanon, and the required equipment is used for the transportation of ink pigment powder. The customer's request is to use a stainless steel explosion-proof screw conveyor to transport ink powder to the next process.

2．Solution

Based on the customer's request, our engineer had conducted repeated calculations and research, and finally selected the φ150×1200mm pneumatic screw conveyor.

This pneumatic screw conveyor has the characteristics of simple structure, small footprint, and good sealing performance. Especially equipped with the highest explosion-proof level pneumatic motor, it has better explosion-proof effect than explosion-proof electric motors and is more suitable for customers' site working conditions.

In addition, the contact part of the screw conveyor with the ink pigment powder is made of SS304 stainless steel, which greatly avoids ink pigment powder pollution and improves the quality of the customer's ink pigment powder.

3．Working principle

The ink pigment powder enters the screw through the feeding port, and then rotates inside a closed shell by a screw shaft with screw blades, so that the material loaded into the shell does not rotate together with the screw blades due to its own gravity and frictional force on the shell, but only moves forward along the shell, thus completing the ink pigment powder transportation.
