3. Working principle
The cylinder body of tφ2.8 × 43m rotary kiln has a slope of 3.5% with the horizontal plane. The kiln's cylinder body is supported on corresponding carrying roller devices through tyre supporting device, and is controlled to move up and down in the axial direction of the cylinder body by thrust roller device; The transmission process is driven by the motor, reducer, and its matching coupling to rotate the small pinion. The small pinion meshes with the fixed large girth gear ring in the middle of the cylinder body, and finally the large girth gear ring drives the cylinder body to rotate.
The raw materials are fed into the kiln from the feeding end of kiln and calcined inside the kiln. Due to the tilting and slow rotation of the cylinder body, the raw material rolls along the circumference on one side and moves towards the lower end of the kiln outlet on the other. After further preheating, decomposition, firing and other processes inside the kiln, the calcined clinker is discharged into the cooling system from the kiln outlet end.
