Magnesium rotary kiln is a special rotary kiln developed for the calcination characteristics of dolomite and the technological requirements of Pidgeon method for smelting magnesium. It is the key equipment of the dolomite calcination system. The calcined white produced by the rotary kiln has stable and uniform quality and high activity. , The characteristics of low ignition loss, fully meet the technological requirements of Pidgeon method for smelting magnesium, so that the extraction rate of magnesium and the utilization rate of silicon are also relatively high, and the production cost of metal magnesium is reduced. It is an ideal equipment for calcining dolomite in the magnesium industry.
Our company's magnesium rotary kiln is divided into eleven models according to the specifications of the cylinder, ranging from Ø1.6×32m-Ø4.4×80m. Cylinders with a diameter of 2.2m or more (including 2.2m) are equipped with auxiliary transmission, and those with a diameter of 3.0m or more (including 3.0m) are equipped with four groups of supports instead of three groups. The kiln speed is 0.58-2.85r/min, the slope is 3.5-4.0%, and the main motor power is 18.5kW-355kW, which can meet the demand for forging white calcination within the range of 2t-30t per hour.
